Additional Information

My research interests focus on questions involving biblical hermeneutics, and I am increasingly interested in exploring how we can understand the Bible. I currently serve on the Sage Open Editorial Board.

I’m from Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø and grew up here, and I’m proud to call Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø, CA, my home. My journey hasn’t always been easy, as I grew up in foster care right here in Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø. Those experiences shaped me in profound ways, teaching me resilience and the importance of the church. I’m passionate about the church and love getting involved in local initiatives that bring people together. Whether it’s through volunteer work, creative projects or my church community, I’m always looking for ways to make a positive impact and share the vibrant spirit of our city. Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø is a big part of who I am, and I’m excited to continue contributing to its growth and success through students at Ï㽶ÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø Pacific.

When I’m not teaching, grading or doing research, you can find me at my family’s house playing board games, watching movies, camping or at my son’s basketball games.
